It's true that Lee Perry was not the first producer to release dub records, but to point to Keith Hudson as some sort of influence on Perry is rather odd. Perry was playing around with proto-dub by '69 and released fully dubbed tracks in 1970 (arguably even some of the version sides in 1969 were dub). Hudson had released a handful of deejay cuts and such in '68, but didn't really hit his stride as a producer until '71 or so, well after Perry had started pursuing his sound.
