Vybz Kartel voice has been heard in his prison cell all the way to the outside world.  While he’s in a Jamaican jail awaiting trial for murder he has managed to create and release new music.  Vyba Kartel has a new riddim called “Me a Pree.”

Vybz Kartel was arrested with seven other men – Andre St. John, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Cairo Jones, and Shane Williams – who have been charged for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.  Williams was murdered allegedly on August 16^th over an illegal firearm that disappearance and unfortunately his body still haven’t been found.  However, the prosecution says they have evidence such as a video to prove all of the men were involved in the murder. Adidja Palmer (Vybz Kartel), along with the other men are also facing murder charges to another shooting death of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Bryan of Gregory Park, St. Catherine in July.  They will be returning to court on February 17^th.

Popcaan has already release a new song called, “Nah Sell Out – Off the Bench Riddim”.

Popcaan’s song, “All Now”, has been banned in Jamaica as they felt song breached the Children’s Code for Programming. The song talked about violence being used as a means to resolve conflict.  The song will no longer be played on the radio either. 

Movado has a brand new riddim out called, “Clean Everyday.”  There is a line on the track that has many fans talking about the possibility that the line was about the incident with Bounty Killer Party last year.  This track is also being criticized for copying Popcaan’s style of the track called, “Clean.”
